On the receipt of any offer on your property we will advise you via telephone and in writing. In order to assist you in making a decision on the offer we will verify the buyers’ ability to purchase before an offer is accepted.

 

 

 

On acceptance of an offer we will the produce the memorandum of sale and confirm the agreed price with all parties. Your solicitors’ details will be required at this point to move the sale forward. You will need to agree upon the dates for surveys to be done on your property, exchange of contracts and the date for completion that you will be working towards. Hitchen & Co will keep you notified on progress at every point of the sale and negotiate on your behalf.

If a deposit is going to be paid on the property it will be paid at the time that the contracts are exchanged. The deposit to be paid will be transferred from the buyers’ solicitor to your solicitors. The completion date will be agreed between yourself and the buyer.

The remainder of the sale price will be transferred to your solicitors account. Once the funds have been received we will be notified by your solicitor to release the keys to the buyer. Your property has now been successfully sold.
